A really easy way to restore rusty tools.
Step 1
Disassemble the tools if possible – remove rubber handles.
Step 2
Place the tools in a container and cover with vinegar.
Step 3
Leave to soak for 30 minutes then scrub with a fine wire brush and rinse in water.
Step 4
This process leaves a patina on the tools which prevents rust. This can be removed with some fine sand paper to reveal a shiny finish.
Step 5
Protect and lubricate with some Q20.
