Introducing The Garden Masterclass By Terry Moller, Tasha Tollman & Tanya Visser

Tasha, Terry and Tanya will be presenting a talk on colour & design for your garden from traditional to contemporary combinations as well as container gardening for small spaces with practical examples.

Meet the Speakers:

Terry Moller, author of THE GARDEN RECIPE BOOK Planning and Designing Successful Gardens is a well-known “Garden Guru” and innovative thinker in the South African Horticultural industry, having studied with some of the great teachers, like the Royal Horticultural Society and John Brooks. Some of her proudest achievements include being the founder and Principal of Lifestyle College; introducing the concept of design show gardens into the South African market and taking a garden design team to the Calgary World Skills Olympics 2004. This year she was honoured with the 2022 Trainer of the Year award by the South African Green Industry. Over the years her own garden has been featured a number of times in various magazines and television shows and she has been interviewed on a number of different radio stations.

Tasha Tollman an award-winning garden designer, qualified Education, Training and Development Practitioner (ETDP, UJ) and Managing Director of DIY Garden Designer founded in 2014, which offers online Garden Design courses for gardeners. She shares her search for design inspiration, her passion for creating award winning gardens and her quest to uncover the secrets behind gardens that fill us with delight on Facebook in Tasha’s DIY Garden Design Club, which has over 80 000 members. Her garden design articles have been featured, a number of times, in SA Garden and Home Magazine

SOUTH AFRICA’S VERY OWN GARDEN GURU, Tanya Visser built on the knowledge she acquired during those very early days in the garden by studying horticulture at what was then Natal Technikon. After qualifying as a horticulturist, she began her working career in a garden centre, learning the tricks of the trade and expanding her plant and business knowledge. After a respectable nine years or so in the green industry she moved on to join the world of publishing.

If Tanya had it her way, she’d be a full-time gardener but unfortunately it doesn’t pay all that well (especially when it’s in your own garden), so she is also the editor of The Gardener and Die Tuinier magazines, author of various gardening books and also plays host to various Television and live shows throughout the year.
