GlooIt Zero Nails is a great new product that makes hanging things so much easier and cleaner.
Zero Nails is a single-component, high-strength sealant that offers rapid initial tack and is odourless. It’s versatile too and can be used for both interior and exterior applications – it even sets underwater. It can be used on a number of surfaces, such as metals, glass, wood, concrete and gypsum- cornices, as well as skirting boards. And with a remarkable holding power of 300 kg per square meter once dried, it is excellent for hanging accessories and decorations.
The application process is straightforward: start by ensuring that the surfaces you are joining are free of dust, oil and grease. If using the 290 ml tube, load it into a caulking gun and then snip off the tip of the tube nozzle. If you’re using the smaller tube, simply open it. Apply the adhesive to the joining surfaces, making sure that you achieve even coverage. It’s recommended to leave a gap between each bead to allow air to pass through, which aids in full curing strength.
Once the adhesive has been applied, position the surfaces and press them firmly together, holding them this way for a few seconds to allow the adhesive to bond. The initial tack time is only a few seconds and full curing occurs after 24 hours.
