Nail-in Anchors

At Builders, our nail-in anchors are manufactured using virgin, high-density, white, polyethylene plugs for secure fastening, ideal for indoor applications. We also manufacture grey, high-density, nylon plugs which are more durable and ideal for outdoor applications. Both types are made with zinc-plated steel screws to provide long-lasting fixing solutions.

Cut-Thread Screws

Cut thread screws are used for general carpentry jobs to fix wood to wood or metal to wood. All screws are coated in yellow passivation, making them more resistant to rust. Our decking screws are brown in colour and include a protective coating.

Drywall Screws

Drywall screws have extremely sharp points and threads, designed to secure drywall to a substrate such as wood or metal studs. These sharp points and threads enable the super-fast insertion of the screws into drywall and its support structure. They are available in coarse thread, which can be used to secure drywall to a wood substrate such as brandering, where holding power is required. They are also available as fine thread, ideal for fastening drywall to metal studs in order to cut easily into metal. In this way they provide better holding power in the thin metal, as opposed to the coarse thread versions.

Rivets

A pop rivet is a fastener consisting of a body and a mandrel used to attach thin pieces of material to thin pieces of metal. Be sure to drill a same-sized hole through both materials which coincides with the thickness of the rivet. The mandrel is then placed into the nosepiece of a rivet gun, whereafter the body part is placed through the holes in the work piece. These rivets are available in various types according to specific requirements.

$Tek screws$

Tek screws

Tek screws can be used to secure roof sheeting. A self-drilling point means that no pilot holes are required. Tek screws ensure better installation of roof sheeting compared to normal roof nails, as coarse thread enables the screw to grip the material. Tek screws can also be used for a wide variety of other woodworking and metalworking jobs. All that is required to drive the Tek screws home is an 8 mm nut setter, secured in an electric drill.
