19 May 2022: Winter prep

Discussion topics will include:

  • What to plant now, general winter maintenance, what happens and what is the consequence frosts.
  • A discussion on winter vegetables too.
  • Mulching and protecting the soil from cold.

23 June 2022: Take it indoors

Discussion topics will include:

  • With the colder months upon us, bring the outdoors inside.
  • Indoor plants for beginners to expert plant parents.
  • How to display indoor plants, requirements such as light conditions as well as general care and watering.
  • The big question – can succulents grow indoors?

21 July 2022: Fruit trees

Discussion topics will include:

  • General care of fruit trees, explaining stone fruit (peaches, nectarines, and plums) preferred for colder climates to Mediterranean fruit trees, citrus and olives.
