Use wood offcuts to make a unique piece of wall art.

- Chalk
- Sandbags
- Carbon paper
- Masking tape

- Offcut wood blocks
- Wood glue
- Masonite
- Bokkie template
- White water-based paint
- Slotted hooks
Step 1
Roughly cut the template out and trace it face down on the masonite.
Step 2
Arrange the blocks to cover the traced area.
Step 3
Glue the blocks in place with wood glue. Apply pressure using sandbags and leave overnight so the glue can cure.
Step 4
Place the template face up on the back of the masonite and secure the template in place with masking tape. Make sure the template is placed on the area where you’ve stuck the wooden blocks. Trace the shape, using carbon paper.
Step 5
Secure the masonite to your work surface, with the wood blocks facing down and carefully cut it out with the jigsaw.
Step 6
Make a white wash with 1:10 part paint and water and paint the blocks with it.Secure the masonite to your work surface, with the wood blocks facing down and carefully cut it out with the jigsaw.
Step 7
Attach slotted hooks to the back and hang the bokkie.
