Despite its small size, it offers full 1080 HD video, infrared night vision with full colour and features smart AI human detection, so you’ll get clear alerts without false triggers from things like rustling trees or misbehaving pets. It also supports two-way audio, letting you speak to visitors or delivery drivers up to 5m away from the camera directly through your phone. With easy wall mounting and support for both local micro-SD and encrypted cloud storage, the AW200 is a tough, reliable choice for outdoor security.
For an even clearer view of what’s going on outside, the Xiaomi AW300 steps things up. It offers even more rugged IP66-rated weatherproofing than the AW200, and upgrades the camera to a 3MP sensor, delivering sharper 2.5K video to capture more detail, especially useful for identifying faces, licence plates or activity at a distance. The two-way speaker system is also more powerful, able to communicate with people up to 7m away from the camera, while the AW300 can also trigger an alarm or flashing lights to scare away unwanted visitors.
