Turn your bedroom into a haven of sleep.
- Mixing bucket
- Paint stirrer
- Spritzer
- Sponge
- Paint rollers and trays
- Paintbrushes
Step 1
Mix two equal parts of the white and blue paint to create a mid-tone
Step 2
Divide the wall horizontally into thirds.
Step 3
Paint each third of the wall, starting with the darkest colour at the base and white at the top.
Step 4
Break the harsh lines by feathering it out with the mid-colour.
Step 5
Let the paint dry for a bit. Then start blending the colours using brushes, a sponge and a spritzer. With a crisscross motion start merging the three colours together. Use a brush for each colour and work your way from light to dark.
Step 6
Use the spritzer filled with water, set on a mist spray to keep the paint moist. Dampen the sponge and also use that to blend the colours. This is a slow process. Keep going until you get the desired effect.
Now your DIY is complete and you have an ombre focus wall!
