Create the look

What you’ll need:

  • Drop sheet and masking tape
  • Sandpaper #150 grit and soft cloth
  • Brush or dense foam roller
  • Chalk
  • Bulls Eye 123 Primer – brush on
  • Chalk Board paint – brush on

Prepare

Lightly sand glossy walls and clean with soap and water. Rinse and dry. wipe Tape off the area of your wall that you want to paint and install your drop cloth to protect your work area with a drop cloth. Prime the wall using Bulls Eye 123 brush on primer and leave to cure for an hour before top coating.

Top Tip

Allow paint to dry for three days. Once cured, prepare surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing. Your wall is now ready for the little Picassos in your home to chalk up some fun. Only for indoor use.

Paint

Stir Chalk Board paint well to mix evenly. Use a roller for big areas and a brush for tighter corners. Avoid excessive brushing and rolling. Use light even strokes.

Finish

This writable, erasable, latex paint will be touch dry in 30mins and dry in two to four hours. Wait at least four hours between coats if you decide to add another.
