Feature walls are often used to bring colour and interest to a lounge or bedroom – now try it in the bathroom.
When starting out, remember that walls need to be absolutely clean and dry for the best adhesion between them and wallpaper paste, wall art or stencilling paint. If your walls already have a quality finish, then all you might need to do is wash them with sugar soap.
Choices include: Wallpapering (smooth wall required); stencilling; wall art stickers (smooth wall required); photo mural (smooth wall required); painted stripes; different paint effects; textured paint finish.
Top tip: For bathrooms and wet areas, check with Builders or your interior designer whether a particular wallpaper is suitable. In a high-traffic area, choose a wallpaper that is durable, not too delicate, and easy to clean.
