30 years ago these chairs were in their prime. A little rust won’t stop them getting a new lease on life.
You will need:
- Wire brush
- Sandpaper
- Rust-Oleum Rusty Metal Primer
- Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2x in the colours of your choice
- Painter’s tape
- Old plastic shopping bags

Step 1
Use the wire brush and sandpaper to remove all loose and flaky bits on your furniture. Clean off all the dust.

Step 2
Spray the chairs on all sides with Rust-Oleum Rusty Metal Primer and let it dry.

Step 3
Spray the chair with two to three coats in the colour of your choice. Spray from all sides and angles. Let it dry.

Step 4
Mask the ends of the legs and protect the rest of the chair with plastic shopping bags. Spray the ends of the legs in a contrasting colour.
